Hustler Flip up mower will not flip up

....."I now discovered that my gas gauge does not work, but the hour meter does. Have not looked into this yet. Don't know if this can be related to the deck not flipping up."

No.....the gas gauge has nothing to do with the deck not flipping up.

The gas gauge not operating correctly is a problem all it's own (that is "IF' your gas gauge is the round glass type?).

The gas gauge not operating correctly is a problem all it's own (that is "IF' your gas gauge is the round glass type?).

Yes, I know the flip-up has nothing to do with the gas gauge. I noticed that the gauge quit working while working on the flip-up problem, and I thought I would through that out there too.

Thank you for the forum post about the gas gauge. If/When I figure out the flip-up problem, I will, most definitely, post what I have found.

I know this post is well over 3 years old at this point but I'm curious if you ever got it figured out? My mom's mower is doing the same thing except she can't lower or raise her deck at all, nor flip it up and funny thing is... The gas gauge doesn't work either lol. 2016 model 650+ hours. We've checked and replaced all of the switches. We are thinking it's the Electronic controller.
