Gifted this mower, bad pulleys, and full of grass and dirt, removed back guard under gas tank, repaired broken gas tank vent, and need spring attachment diagram for two springs above trans for pedals, anyone have a clear pic? I know they attach to back plate unsure of pedal bracketing...........thanks
 
a 960450052 I have found and installed springs as per diagram found on webs, the drive pully is a cheap cast alum with punch points for woodruff key to engine shaft, is there an upgrade for this?? Have ordered OEM but I can see it failing the way it is made> Thanks
 
Are 100% positive it is cast aluminum or is it heavy galvanized steel? Magnets don't stick to aluminum.

And transaxles don't put much of load on the pulley anyway. Its the PTO clutch that would give a problem first.
