Does anybody own and recommend. What are your thoughts and opinions, good or bad?Or Kubota 2290 is a better option?

I am not sure about that model but some had problems with frame cracks. Google that.

You’re comparing apples to oranges. Low end residential mower to high end residential mower. I would always recommend going Kubota if you can swing the extra initial cost, long run if properly maintained Kubota will far outlast that Husky.
