Walk behind HRB216 hydrostat transmission

the hydro leaked oil out of the axle seals, trasmisson would not work so i tried some 00 grease to see if they would seal up and still nothing the new one is over 300,has anyone had one of these tore down?im curious to see if i can nurture it back to rescue,i think its this number 2011-VE5-711,and whats the rhyme and reason to honda PN?thankyou Ty
