How to posi

Any way of turning a hydro gear into a posi? I hate the one tire fire when on un-even ground or loss of traction plowing snow. I was thinking about welding the spider gears like on trail rigs.

Right you are my 430 JD has a diff lock and if it is engaged the front tires will just slid, More weight and traction on the back.

You will not be happy with a welded rear-end.:thumbdown:

Best solution would be to buy one that has a means of locking and unlocking the Differential.

I got some ags, or should call them Carlisle Super Lugs off of mgrassroots.com they work very well, and he was cheaper than anyone else.. he will also add match prices too..

You won't gain anything with tractor lug tires on ice and snow. They are for dirt and mud. The best thing is to add weight and a good set of tire chains.

I already have chains and about 50lbs extra over the rear in the winter. I have trouble with the 1 tire fire thingy when side hilling.

What is a 1 tire fire thingy?
