Does anyone know how to "Clean" the Bags on Mowers? There is a seller here in the Portland area and his used Mowers have bright white Bags. I contacted him and he wouldn't reveal his secret. I tried a pressure washer once and it made the material fuzzy. I'm not sure what he does to clean them but it is amazing. Only thing I found that works very good is "HVAC Coil Cleaner". Good results but expensive when you are trying to make a few buck selling refurbished Mowers. I used the whole Can on a Honda Bag. I currently have 11 Walk-behind Mowers to sell which is nuts.

He might pull them off their frames, and take a bunch at a time to a coin laundry that has a big washer, then throw them in with an oxidizer that is safe for the fabric. That is how we wash the car cover. I've used a pressure washer and never had a fuzzy problem but it will not get it bright white. It simply opens the pores. Is it possible he is buying aftermarket bags for the most common ones and replacing them?
I put way too much time and money onto the Mowers. For some reason, I run into most of my Mowers at Estate Sales as no one wants them so I get a better deal. I think in Portland, it's all about Battery Mowers so People don't want Gas powered Mowers. Snappers seem to be most common brand at the Sales lately. I just got an Ariens Mower this weekend that is very nice but doesn't run. Haven't tried to fix it yet. It came with the Owner's Manual, repair receipts, 2 extra blades, thatcher attachments, 2 Cans on Ariens orange paint. Sales receipt says $659 from 1994.
