How do you keep sparrows out of your garage ????

they have taken up residents in my garage this winter. me my lab and my trusty BB gun have thinned them pretty good. new ones keep showing up.tryed an owl decoy.it worked for afew days.keep the door{sliding} open just enought so my lab can get in and out. would apprecate any idea's. thanks rod

use mothballs on the motors of my two pickup's to keep the mice from building nest there.work real well. will try it on the birds. Thanks, rod

Try attaching a strip of hardware cloth, the width of the doggie opening, to the door from the top to within a couple of feet of the ground or dog height + a little. If they enter through the dog opening attach a rubber doggie flap for the lower two feet.

Or you could get a cat. Do you have a farm and garden store near by? If so ask them. I know that mice also hate peperment. They sell it for campers. Will one of those electronic sound things work?

Try one of those big Owls with a bobble head. Post him at the entrance.

Doggie door with a flap



A dog gave birth to puppies near the road and was cited for littering. :laughing:
