How Do I Choose the Right Landscape Designer for My Home Project?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to redesign my backyard and add some outdoor features like a patio, garden, and maybe even a small water feature.

I want to hire a landscape designer, but I'm not sure where to start. What should I look for in a good designer?

Are there certifications or portfolios I should ask VVLandscapingCompany about? Also, how involved should I expect to be in the process?

I'd appreciate any tips or personal experiences from those who have worked with a landscape designer before.

There’s ONLY THREE WAYS I’ve come to trust:

word of mouth recommendations and referrals

Word of Mouth recommendations

WORD OF MOUTH

ya gotta talk to not just your neighbors but everyone in your area where you can see evidence of good work, not just residences but medical and office parks - including ringing up hoa’s throughout your area

A good landscaper must be both: A creative: he designs pleasant, functional, aesthetic spaces. And A technician: he understands soil structure, water management, sunlight, planting, sustainability.
