R robert306 Forum Newbie Oct 3, 2014 #1 I ran over a piece of carpet with my push mower.The mower died and I pulled the piece of carpet out.When I restarted the mower it was blowing oil out of exhaust and where you put the oil in at.Any ideas what is wrong and HOW BAD IS IT?

ILENGINE Lawn Royalty Oct 4, 2014 #2 I suspect you got oil into the intake when you tipped the mower to remove the carpet. I would top the oil off, and run the mower and see what happens.

Check that your air filter isn't fouled with oil.
