Hood for LXT 1000 mower

Wondering if anyone knows if a hood for a Craftsman LT1000 would fit a Craftsman LTX1000? I have found several replacements that are “LT” but can’t find a reasonable one for “LTX”. Thanks in advance.
 
compare the part numbers on your SPECIFIC model and serial number is what I would try first. Many sites have parts lists. If you don't know the part number of a specic hood for sale, ask the seller the model and serial of the mower it is coming off of.
