I need to replace the carburetor on a Honda mower.
Model number: H662164TDA
Serial: MZCG 7724 132

imprinted on the engine is: GJAEA5781751

-How do I know which carburetor I need?
-Is it the same carb for all Honda gcv160 engines?

No there are a few that they have used.

so how did you know which carb is needed? Did you go off the lawn mower model number, the serial number, or the number imprinted on the engine?

The sticker on the top of the engine says GCV160 but that’s it. No numbers or letters after that.

Where did you look it up? Also totally unrelated question I need a control cable for this mower. I can’t find the model number. It’s been scratched off. Any ideas?

Used the Honda site. Give me a couple of pics of the entire unit and I’ll see if I can locate a cable.

I believe the OP is mis reading the model number here. Looks to be a HRR2164TDA which is a HRR216K4-TDA (SN: MZCG-7700001 - MZCG-7799999) and if so the carburetor comes as a 16100-Z0L-023
