Honda or Toro engine for Super Recycler

Hello all,

So after the feedback on the last post I am going to buy a super recycler, only question I have now is which motor as they seem to offer it with both a Toro engine or for $50 more a Honda engine. Is there any reason why one might be better than the other? the Honda is a 160cc whereas the Toro is 159 for whatever that is worth....

Not sure if anyone else looked at both, most places locally only sell the toro engine.

We sell both and I don’t think anyone can notice the difference in engine size. I ask people who look at both to go with their gut, 95% go with the Toro Loncin unit 20381 and I’ve never had anyone say they made the wrong choice. If properly maintained, I feel it’s a 20+ year unit.

Thanks, I actually called the place I was buying it from here and the guy was pretty pointed when he said get the toro engine so I saved myself $50, thanks for the info.
