is there adjustment I can make to get more rpm out of this mower

I believe you can adjust both the idle and the high RPM settings on the HRM215s, but there is a recommended setting for both. I'd recommend referring to the service manual.

1. Get a tachometer.
2. Start and warm up the engine.
3. Move the throttle to FAST.
4. Engage the blade.
5. Check engine speed; adjust screw A to set speed to 3,150-3,300 rpm.
6. If you can't obtain that speed, okay to move governor spring to lower hole.
