Honda Harmony Tiller

I have a Honda Harmony tiller that starts and run well, however, when attempting to till in my raised beds it seems to have very little power and bogs down.
I have replace the clutch (it needed it) I'm still experiencing lack of power to till up the garden. Can anyone give me some suggestions?
 
I suggest you carefully remove the carburetor and clean it really well inside and out. There are lots of videos online to help you.
 
maybe try check the engine for any problems, such as spark plug problems, fuel supply problems, or a clogged air filter? Also hows the condition of your soil? Even a properly functioning tiller may have trouble turning the soil if it's too compact or has too many rocks in it.

The tiller starts fine and seems to rev up...but when put under a load in the soil it bogs down and barely turns the tines. I'm tilling soil in a raised bed, so it's not compacted other then normal settling. Also, I've checked and cleaned the air filter...no problem there. I'm wondering if the engine is just worn out, it's about 15 years old. I haven't checked the compression.

Start by doing a compression test and then adjust the valves and replace the plug and see what your compression test reads after to see if there is any improvement .
