This is a mower that is not that old. The problem is that when running oil starts to come out of the breather tube and out the air filter box. I have installed a new Honda carburetor & changed the oil. I went as far as replacing the spark plug / install new carburetor gaskets / took off cap / plate where the breather tube mounts to the engine block. I cleaned everything up & I reinstalled this cap/plate back on the block.
The engine is not over filled with oil & it has not been tilted.
I have pulled out what ever little hair I have left & I still cannot get the oil to stop spitting out of the breather. At times the oil will come out / pour out faster than just the spitting.
Any Suggestions ?

only 2 options
1) head gasket leaking between the cylinder & pushrod tube
2) faulty breather check valve

or if you are lucky both of the above
