I have a Lawn Pride mower with a Honda eng, The battery keeps going down. I checked with a meter, eng running it is putting out 12.3 v, with my charger on it it is 13.75 v. What is the eng supposed to put out to keep the battery charged? How do you check the voltage regulator and/or stator?

Your engine should also be charging around 13.+ volts
