Gentlemen,
I have the above mower and I need some assistance with the seat adjuster. I acquired this mower and there was a ratchet strap holding the seat in place, this is not acceptable. LoL
I've been searching the net but I'm unsure of a part number and I'm hoping someone here will take pity on me and point me in the correct direction. I have found these pics on the net and I THINK this is what I need but I'm unsure.
Can one of you point me in the correct direction where I might obtain one of these please?
Thanks you in advance!
John

If you have the standard seat setup then PN TA13428 is serial numbers below 20001 and PN TCA24843 is for serial number above 20000. The kits are about $125 @ the brick and mortar JD dealers.

If it is stuck like it's shown in the pictures, the pivot pin or bolt for the lever is rusted and hanging. A little penetrating oil and constant working the lever will free it up and it should work and allow the holding tabs to engage the adjuster rail.

Gentlemen,
Thank you both for your assistance. There is currently no adjuster present so sticking isn't currently a problem. LoL
I believe that the seat is a standard model and not the one with the standard model not the suspension model.

Again, thank you both for your input!!!

You show to have a basic lever adjuster.

Yes, it is a standard model.

The lever with the orange tip is supposed to swing to the outer edge of the seat so the pegs at the bottom can lock into the rail and hold the seat from moving fore and aft freely.
