Repairs Help with 1996 Honda H2013 transmission

I have a 1996 Honda H2013 5speed tractor. I've replaced the transmission once and now its gone out again. Are these transmissions a problem on these tractors? The manual says no parts available for the transmission. Who manufactured these transmissions? Does anyone know? I know that these transmissions must have repair parts available somewhere.
The tractor has never been abused, well taken care of. Would like to get it going again, but can't see another $400 transmission on a 19 year old mower.

You're correct that Honda does not offer internal parts for the gear transmission for the H2013.

I've asked our veteran parts guy if he recalls who made the transmission for Honda. Might be possible to get parts from them, but that's a big maybe.

You might be able to find a donor unit with a blower/destroyed engine that may still have a usable transmission. I use this site to scour craigslist with good results. Be sure to limit your search to "titles only" and search for exactly "Honda Rid*" in Home and Garden. This will only show Honda rid(ing) or Honda rid(er) or Honda rid(e-on) machines:
