!!!!! HELP !!!!! 50" Craftsman zero turn mower, remove upper pulley from crank shaft
Can any one offer some much needed info here? I have a 50" Craftsman zero turn mower Model number 107277700
All but one motor mount bolt fell out, so 3 holes of the 4 are wallowed out. I can weld them up and redrill not a problem. So I removed the fuel tank and battery and all the sheet metal. Finally got it up on jack stands. Removed the bolt from the crank shaft and used a 3 jaw puller and the electric pulley cam right off without any problems. Removed the one motor mount bolt that was left, motor is free to move around. So then I went to remove the upper pulley. Removed the belt from the pulley and moved it out of the way. The 3 jaw puller will not remove the pulley. I checked for a set screw on the pulley and found nothing.Key is still in keyway. Would one of you professionals please give a clueless fella the info on how to go about removing this pulley? Is a shell puller what I need to use ????
