Help! 1800 Grazer

I have a really old Grazer mower. The seat safety strip is acting up. It's a 2 wire strip. How do I bypass this? I live in an extremely flat area and I'm not worried about falling off my mower. Please help so I can mow.

A replacement seat switch is a lot cheaper than an ambulance ride to an A & E or even a taxi trip home .

The strip was broken. I've since managed to fix the strip.
