Hello everyone,

I guess I should post here first. My name is James, and I'm from Washington state.

I'm currently working on a Yard Machines 662 hydrostatic lawn tractor that was given to me for free with engine/electrical issues.

I'm also originally from Washington state. How is it this time of year?

It looks like we're finally getting to see a little bit of Spring. There have been a few sunny days between the rain, and it's getting into the 50's

Great! I guess that's what brought you to this forum... it's time to mow!

Where I lived, it got up to the 80's during the summer and remained consistent. Great for trips to the river. Are your summers so fortunate?

I'm in Western WA, and the summers have been kind of spotty lately. I grew up in Eastern WA though, and the summers were great there!

Yeah, it's amazing what a difference it makes to go inland a bit. Although, there's something to be said about coastal Washington and it's cool weather. Overall it's a beautiful state. This conversation is making me miss the Evergreens and mountains... All we have in my area are palm trees.

Well, all in all it's good to have you here. How's the Yard Machine coming? If you need any help, our members are really quite helpful. Don't hesitate to post any questions you might have in the Small Engine & Repair forum.
