Hello New to mowing World

Hey i just got into the mowing world i am 23 and got this 1987 Toro 8/32 Pro Rider i think its sweet when i got it was nasty needed a degrease. Carb was also needed rebuilding well today i got it all back together and running i pull started her smoke came out and the mower that is older than me started running it was slow to say the least but i was still excited i dropped the blade so now whats left to do ? i am thinking of adding bigger tires to the front if it can even handle it thoughts? and tell me how the like the motor thanks!!

Welsome to lmf! great info on here! and cool mower! them things are like wheelie machines when the deck is off. bigger wheels in the front would look sweet too.

:welcome: to LMF! I don't know if the mower can handle it or not, but if it can, I would definitely put larger front tires on it!! :thumbsup:

ya not sure either i front end is pretty old and let me tell you this thing is fun to ride i live on a an island so community is cool i ride to wherever

is it quick? whats the hp on the thing? those rear end mowers are usually pretty speedy.

A friend of mine has about half a dozen of those parked out in the iron pile. About half of them are Toro and the other half are Snapper. He still has his newest one that is a Snapper I think. The front steering wears out on them after quite some time.

yes my front steering was pretty bad i tighten it up so its alright

ya this was my grandpas hes 78 now so just gonna keep it i guess to do ride every once in while.

Gotta respect the fact its been around longer than me the engine i think its in great shape transmission is more what i worry about
