Hi everyone! I came across this forum while researching riding mowers. There's a lot of good information here and I appreciate everyone's input.
I have 1 acre of hilly yard, and I wanted something that's presumably more reliable than the Homedepot John Deere. Ended up purchasing a Scag Liberty Z with 36inch deck (maybe a little overkill for my need but... it is nice). Mowed it for the first time over the weekend and I'm loving it! It used to take me around 2 hours or more to mow and trim. With this Scag ZTR, I was able to get it done in about 1 hour and I'm still learning how to drive the thing!
Looking forward to do my own maintenance and hope to contribute my learning experiences.
