I have a 2002 John Deere gx325, the crank case gasket is leaking and I need to pull the motor to replace it. I have gotten to the drive pulley and can't seem to remove it. I have soaked it with moovit to get things Loose, and still nothing. Does anyone know how to remove this? Thanks in advance. image.jpgimage.jpg

You will need a puller, and not just any puller will do, the puller will have to go underneath pulley & close to crankshaft to avoid breaking pulley, first reinstall bolt in crankshaft to avoid damaging crankshaft & threads.

"K&T Parts House Lawn Mower Parts and Chain Saw & Trimmer Parts" your engine repair manual is 12 down from top, download at bottom left of screen. Please let us know how it goes, thanks.

4" gear puller worked great, pulled the drive pulley off and gasket was easily replaced.
