Hi all, 2000 vintage mid mount 225 w/Kohler engine here. Right at 1k hours on it.
Have got a pretty good hydro oil leak coming from the left wheel motor area. Pretty sure it's not either hose connection but is coming from the case somewhere. Otherwise runs great.
Anyone got a source or suggestion for a wheel motor other than new? They are $1k. Or can they be rebuilt?
Trying to decide if it's mower replacement time, or repair. Threw the mower drive belt yesterday, which also damaged the hydro pumps drive belt so belt bucks $$$ are coming into play also.
Just replaced the 2 front wheel/tire assemblies yesterday too. Those old tires were shot....
