If there is a problem, it needs to be addressed. If you don't like my posts, or JD's, or anyones, just don't read them. There are bigger discussions going on than you seem to realize.

The membership IS LMF. If there is a problem, whether it be between members, or between members and admin, they need to be hashed out. Again, if you don't like the drama, then take up knitting or scrapbooking (just stay outa their forums, too....). Or just stay outa the threads. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO READ THEM.

There is no real 'JOB'. We are all VOLUNTEERS. Keep that in mind. This is a MOWER FORUM, not a FD.........so the cruciality of staying focused is kinda a moot point....

I have volunteered a LOT of my time to this forum. If I have a problem, i am going to voice it. If that is superfluous to you, than by all means, put me on your control panel iggy list. But, I will NEVER shut up. If I'm told to do so, I'll just leave. There are many who didn't want me to do so. So deal with it, or iggy me. It isn't really that big a deal. Click on my name, go to 'profile', and click on 'ignore user'. That's it - I won't bug you again, and this kind of post won't be needed. Do so until you have iggied everyone. BOOM! No more problems. No more forum, IMHO, but that's just me. Forums=drama. Get used to it, or get the F--- out. Sorry to be so blunt, but it's just the truth. 'Gilding the lily' has never been a strong suit of mine when a thread like this emerges....just DO NOT tell me what I oughta talk about...........or you'll get a nice FU outa it. This IS after all the OFF-TOPIC FORUM. You want mowers? That's what the REST of the GD site is for......

BTW, punctuation seems to break up one's sentances........maybe that's what it's for......dunno...maybe the 'young adult' can school you on where to put a break in your written thoughts....since he must be sitting on your lap at the moment...... Glad he's never seen a bad word! He live in a [nunnery] monastery?

We, in the USA, denied that there were gay people among us for generations. We 'put them in the closet'. Will we have a bunch of closeted 'sailor-mouths' in the next generation? 'Cause we all keep denying they know what the f---- bad words are. Anyhow, carry on.......PC and all..........

My two cents.

This is what really frustrates me! I realize I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed....but how am i supposed to know what FD is? This method of communicationg might save you time but it cost me a lot more trying to figure out just exactly what it is you are saying. Could you pass along your code book please?

That's not even a computer-specific one! Ever seen The Fire Department referred to on their trucks as the FD?

OK ok, just type Fire Department.... I see the 2 capital letters and I'm thinkng "Full Disclosure" or some other face book type of something or other. Does it really save that much time? He who masters the language needs to respect the listener...a little. Or it doesn't matter.

Why, being cryptic is half the fun of the Internet!

Took me MONTHS to learn all these acronyms! You just expect me to throw all that precious knowledge to the side like yesterday's news?

No I'm just askin for the code book... I'll look it up.
I've got a book for texting and I used it here to know avail. I used google too and nothing that made any sense.
Like I said, it saves you (anybody that uses these abreviations) time but it frustrates me having to stop and figure it out. So we are not communicating....somtimes. Not a big deal, I'm short on patience and I know you understand that.

Absolutely!

Not sure if there is a code book........per se, anyway. Just takes asking - and writing it down!
