General question about B&S models

Good afternoon all,

Quick question about briggs motors, specifically the I/C line: what is the difference between the I/C and the I/C which is labeled to have "quiet packaging"? Engines appear identical, as I own 12hp models of both engines (just not side by side).

Could be the muffler. Or one has an internal counter balance.
Put up the complete set of model numbers of both.
Mufflers usually are supplied by the tractor brand/company.

Cooling air flow or ducting change but mostly just a selling point.

Years ago they had a 5hp engine called "quiet tone" equipped. Just a different muffler.
