Gas light comes on even after I switch to LH Secondary tank?

When the light does some on I switch over to the LH tank light goes off but comes back on after
about 10 min. It then comes on and goes off. Yes the LH tank is full??

What might that be my friends??

What kind of unit is it on? We don't have ESP due to the hot and dry weather.

Don't have Kubota manuals at home, will try to remember to check at the shop tomorrow if my brain works.

Have you checked you manual about when and how to switch tanks. Sounds like you might have to bleed the lines between the tanks. Your manual has the instructions on how to do this. Were you using the primary tank when you made the switch over?

I bought the mower it gas gage was in the primary tank I filled both tanks up. Light blinks I did wait a bit longer as I saw I still have fuel in the tank not near empty .. I went ahead and changed over to the 2nd tank.. Light went off but came back on about a hour later????

Do you have the manual for your unit? Have you checked the section under maintenance about how to bleed the tank?

yea I got the manual but Id sure screw something up bleeding tanks...
Brother Im not to high tech most stuff I try to fix don't come out right.
I will try to find the bleed tanks part read it over..

The light is only for the right tank and the gauge is only for the left tank. The valve for switching tanks has nothing to do with the operation of the gauge or light. They are totally separate systems.

I know that but why after switching over to tank 2 which uses the gauge does the red light come on is my question.... NOW im just keeping them both filled up going back to tank 1 after I do that.
