Gas leaks straight through carburetor and out of the air filter

Right now my problem is gas leaks straight through carburetor and out of the air filter of my craftsman 143.414232 motor/ tecumseh tvs11556016a motor.
Any help appreciated.

I have one of these doing the same thing, but haven't tore into it yet. I suspect a carburetor float issue.
 
Problem is that the float seat has expanded and the float needle cannot shut off the fuel flow. Fix, remove the carb, clean and install a new needle and seat.
