Anyone use Star Tron enzyme fuel treatment in their small engines? It was recommended to me by a mower mechanic to stabilize the ethanol in todays gasoline. I've used it for several years and have had good results, even if the gas sets all winter in the cans.

I use nothing. We already have enough crap in our has. Why add more? My gas never sits around more then a few days.

I've been using the Briggs and Stratton fuel additive for the last few years, since the majority of my engines are Briggs. I didn't plan it that way, I just got good deals on the equipment.

1 oz protects 5 gallons of gas, and it seems to last all year. I let mine sit over the winter and it fires right up with no issue in the spring. It was designed to also fight the ethanol, but your way better to get top tier gas like Shell, and try to find ethanol free if at all possible. This is hard to do in many areas these days.
