Fuel pump issues

sfz52 mower fs691v engine 275 hours on engine. Original pump failed at 265 hrs. Replaced with cheapie from ebay. At 275 hrs new only supplies enough fuel to run 2/3 wot. Fuel tank venting ok. Am I missing something about fuel system ( filter clean) or is new pump defective? If so, I would appreciate recommendations on what pump to buy. Thanks.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, E-bay is the hero of the seller, bane of the buyer. 99% of the time I buy OEM. Most times it costs less in the long run.
