So I disconnected the fuel line on this GVC 190 motor and it was kinda stuck. So I pulled harder and this was the result.
I assume the orange thing is part of a fuel filter?
If so, how do you install it? And why didn't it slide out of the fuel line when I was pulling on it? And even if it HAD slipped out, how would I put it back in the new fuel line without just pushing the filter up into the tank? You can't put your hand in the tank to push the filter down in from that side. Soooo I'm confused how this works. This doens't look like any small engine filter I've ever used.
And of course, the obvious question: Do I really need one of these anyway? I assume the other end of the filter is bouncing around in the tank right now. But it should stay in there forever if I just go without a filter.
