Which way do you plant? Start them from seed, or buy plants already grown? I don't know which way would be better, is there an advantage, besides price to growing them yourself?

I start some; mostly tomatoes & marigolds (we use a lot of marigolds). And we buy quite a few too!

Greenhouse is 10' x10' with minimal heat, so I don't start seeds as early as some do. ~~ grnspot

I need to get mine started. I have a few window sills cleaned off so I can start some there until I get the greenhouse ready for me to start more in there.

With us it depends on the kind of plant we are growing. Some are started from seed and some are already grown. We have a green house that we start almost all of our plants in. Some like the taters just get cut up and put in the ground. The tomato's on the other hand are started from plants, and the cabbage's are also started from plants.
