Ford 140 stripped tranny

That was a nice garden tractor, 14 Hp Kohler I think....

Yes and the further I put the travel control the faster the zzzzzzzz noise goes I does it in reverse to. It is a nice mower it has the electric attachment lift and it runs real good but it won't move it just sits there buzzing. The noise is not striped gears and it's not the pump system
 
With both rear wheels raised... and when turning a wheel by hand, do you feel any problems with the spider gears? Stop one wheel and turn the other....:smile:KennyV
 
The diff is ok if I jack it up they turn but I can stop them with my hand and then it does that zzzzzzz noise thank you for the help
 
Do you still have the Ford 140? I've got one that is missing the hydro pulley on the kohler engine (the one inboard of the pto clutch. Can you tell me what the diameter is of the pulley? and/or would you be interested in selling the pulley from yours.
