Out here in Petaluma CA on a sunny Sunday morning fixing a mainline break. Wishing it was 2" pipe, but with my luck its 4" pipe.
My advice is to dig a wide and deep hole, give yourself a lot of space to play around with because the glue dries very fast! Also ensure that you have slipped the fittings all the way in, the last thing you want is for that pipe to blow and have to return and fix it.

Take the time to do a dry fit and mark the pipe with a felt tip pen then when it comes to the real thing you know it went all the way in and stayed in until dry. That same pen is handy to mark ells for correct orientation during dry fit by putting a line across the two components. Identify components of each joint with your secret code  if there are several connections to be made.
