I have a problem and can't figure it out.
I bought a Derby three wheeler which was made by Ferris. They look identical.
I remove the PTO clutch from the mower. And now what to replace it.
There is no diagram, parts look up just a manual (operating) for the Derby. However if you look up Ferris Procut S you will find what sure looks like the same unit.
It has a briggs 20 hp Vanguard engine on it.
The Ferris diagram shows a part number BS-5043625SM (1"x1.75") and a BS-5042304SM (1.13"X2.00") for the same part on Ferris diagram.
This is a spacer that fits between PTO clutch and the Belt pulley which drives the blades.
The problem..... know what a spacer if for, but which unit should be purchase. What exactly does this bushing function as.
