Ferris IS 1500 low deck suction

Hello, I have a Ferris IS 1500 with a 48" deck 23 H.P. Kawasaki.

My problem is, I have a back yard that is about half an acre and it is very shady area. The shaded grass has a very thin blade.
My mower is having trouble lifting the blades to get a clean cut. I have the deck set at 3.25", and yes it is clean, any suggestions on how to increase deck suction?

The blade designation "High Lift " or " Bagging " has always seemed to determine the ability to lift the grass up because of more suction. Try some and let us know if they actually work better.

Ok, it is using high lift blades currently on all 3- spindles-
What I did was to take an older set of blades ( also high lift) and clocked them 90 degrees to the existing blades and tack welded them together, then bolted them back on to the spindles.

She sucks like a Hoover and blows like a tornado now and has a heck of a howl when running wide open..
