Have a 96 JD345 DV590V. Does anyone have a diagram of were the hoses come from or go to? I have a small opening in the top of the carbureter that gushes fuel when started. The old Carb had something, small and appears brass, visible from one side. I don't know much about these things.

What you are referring to is likely the atmospheric vent. If fuel is coming out of the vent, then the float valve has an issue.
