Extended Warranty Probs

I deal with a lot of elderly customers without the means to bring their own mowers. I don't pickup or delivery smaller handheld products or pushmower size products, unless included with z turn or rider style mower pickup/delivery
I deal with a lot of elderly people also. When I did pick ups and deliveries in the past, it was only for riding mowers and zero turns.

One of many things I figured out is that you can only offer certain options for customers based on time, stress level, gross profit, etc. if you say yes, they will keep coming. Saying “NO” is one of the most important aspects of business I have learned over the years. I simply cannot, nor want to be, all things for customer wants and needs. I can do more things they want, but my other customer’s service will suffer as a result. And my stress level and job satisfaction will not be good.

Hello Tiger,

I get distracted by only a couple of my elderly customers because they regularly show up unannounced and insist that I drop everything I'm in the middle of to take care of them. Sometimes it is for things unrelated to small equipment that they are tinkering on and cannot figure out.

Some people (regardless of age) often forget they are not first in line just because they showed up. The word "NO!" has to be in your vocabulary or this 2% of clients will consume a lot of your time.
