LAS25KC604 - Exmark 60" Lazer Z AS Zero-Turn Mower, 25HP Kohler (SN: 600000 - 669999) (2006)

When I engage the blades...it bogs down and dies. I replaced the belt last October because it broke. Looking at the back of the mower, there is a tension pulley. It appears to be bent. As I recall it was pretty difficult to get the belt on and I may have bent it then...I don't know. But...I think I need to replace it...but I don't want to hurt myself getting the belt off.

Anyone know how to get the belt off safely?

Use a spring hook to remove the moveable idler arm spring. I imagine others will come up other cobbled up ways of removing the spring.
