EX Mark Commercial 30 Drive problem

I have an EX Mark Commercial 30 with a drive problem. No matter how tight I adjust the drive lever cable, the mower either drives at full speed or does not drive at all. The mower pulls heavily to the left under full power. The problem is pronounced on steeper grades. It worked fine for two years with minor cable adjustments. The manual says nothing beyond tightening the drive cable as an adjustment. What other adjustments can be made?

Have you tried replacing the belts? It worked on my Turf-Master. You also may want to replace the drive cable.

Check the pinion gears in the wheel. One might be stripped causing the pulling.
