Engine Run

I have a push lawnmower that has a Quantum 5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine on it. I cannot keep the engine running. I have put carburetor cleaner in it and pulled the chord to confirm that the engine does run. I took the carburetor off the engine and used a compressor to blow out all of the orifices. I put the carburetor back on the engine and it will initially run and then quit. I have tried to mess with the choke to keep it running, but, it does not work.

Please Help

Did all of your gaskets, float, and needle and seat look ok?
This is a fuel delivery problem.
Is it getting a good clean steady flow of fesh gas coming out the fuel line?
Have you changed the spark plug? Some times something simple as a bad plug can cause problems
they are cheap enough just replace it and gap the new plug.
If all of this is now good then try turning out the fuel mixture screw a bit( if equipped).
If still not working turn loosen the carb retaining bolt just enough to where a steady medium streem of fuel flows out (this tests to see if the float level is not rite), if the engine then starts and runs then the float level is not set rite.
BE SURE TO WORK OUTSIDE AND AWAY FROM FLAMS AND SPARKS, PUT RAGS UNDER CARB IF YOU CAN!
Hope this helped!
