to bypass tilt sensor follow seat switch wire back to a small module mounted near battery. unplug both ends of module. I think you can then replug the 2 ends leaving the tilt sensor out of system. tilt sensor was designed to shut engine off in a roll over. exmark no longer uses it.

Replaced the coils and now it runs great with no stalling. Thanks for all the info! Only issue now is that it doesn't charge. Any ideas? Thanks again!!

Hi folks. Last spring when I replaced the coils I thought I had the problems behind me but like a couple of you mentioned seems I had a few different problems. Today, replaced the gas lines that were cracked and collapsed. That was after getting it going Friday but then it acted like it wasn't getting gas. Replaced fuel filter. There is something going on with brake switch so I am ordering one this evening. Getting closer and I actually cut my grass today but it is not charging. The no charging seemed to come on when I replaced the coils. Had a nephew reading the directions and he taped off at least one wire but not sure why. He told me it wasn't needed. Any ideas on the charging? Thanks for all the help over the months.
