Yes, they do work...somewhat. They work best on dry snow. Heavy wet snow, they are almost useless. And they are only good for paths that are only as long as your extension cord is. They are good for only about 6" snow max.
Ok, right on. It was free but I didn't want to bother if it wasn't worth my time. I may just keep it for my walk ways, hubby can shovel and I will use that.
If you want to reduce the amount of junk mail you get, try to reduce the number of credit cards and charge accounts you have. I have one card and no charge accounts...almost never get any junk mail but my wife, on the other hand, gets a dozen times what I do...guess how many credit cards she has.
What baffles me is, they refuse to let the Postal Service raise their stamp rates, so why doesn't the PS raise the rates for junk mail instead? Seems like a win-win to me.
We do not have many credit cards or charge accounts but I think the post office has sold addresses for some extra money without telling us, it gets frusterating

On the other hand junk mail IS good for fire starter, the electric thrower? Not so much. Dusty
I have a Toro Power Shovel for the deck. It's great, but better for my northern property where there's a "mud" room that leads to the deck. The deck on my present home is off the bedroom and the PS is in the basement. Just doesn't seem worth it, generally. I'm taking it up north where it will be appreciated. It was only 89 bucks a bunch of years ago.
I have one of these and it's ok. You can't change what direction the snow is throw so basically it's just shot straight in the air. The cord gets in the way and comes out all the time but it is better than shoveling the snow.

What good is it if you can't change the direction it throws the snow? I wouldn't like getting tangled in the cords either. I guess I'll stick with my gas powered snow blower to get the deed done.
