Got a Swisher in the shop with the Eatons 778-046 hydros.
Two problems
1) fan is demolished so I need a 106014-000 or 109197-000 clockwise fan that does not appear to be available in OZ
2) the oil is cooked ( no surprise there ) so I need to drain, flush & replace it
Neither the service information nor the parts book show a drain plug
I am assuming that the drains are the two hex plugs on one side of the unit and by virtue of there being 2 one is for the pump section & the other for the motor section .
Before I make a mess any one pulled one down before
Second any oil recommendations ?
I have found mobil 1 20W 50 both recommended and not recommended .
The Eatons manual just says high grade hydraulic oil
The swisher manual says "call the dealer "
Eatons service agent just said ISO 68 hydraulic oil
The original distributor down here has no idea ( & no parts either )
FWIW the mower is a rebranded Swisher Z-Max ZT2560

Bert is this the fan? The Eaton PN includes the pulley (sheave). If so then you can try your Briggs Distributor.

Thanks for heads up on the Murray part
The Eatons I have has the fan bolted on with 4 bolts to a flange which is under the pulley
That looks like a Jacks image with 1" per square so I will measure mine on Friday to see if it will fit
The center hub region looks bigger but I should be able to make it fit
Shearing tomorrow & Thursday so after breakie I will be knackered
