I have a Snapper 21" self-propelled mower. I changed the drive belt about 4 months ago and it's been working fine. All of the sudden the drive disc seem s to slipping under any kind of load including higher speeds (positions 4,5 &6). The belt doesn't seem to be worn and there's no obvious way to adjust the tension. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

is the belt tight? sounds like its too loose. might be a shorter belt available
Why would you suggest that?
I did remove the belt and took it in to the local shop. The Snapper replacement belt was a bit wider than the one I removed. I'm pretty confident that the new belt will work. I tried to save a couple of bucks by purchasing a third party belt online and paid for a lesson.
