Crop, that's when she's in it. During the hottest part of the day, if it's really hot, she's in the house or she takes shelter on the patio or in her doghouse on the patio, but the rest of the time, when it's hot but not beating hot, she'll be in a doghole. I hadn't thought about them only being cool for a while. Maybe that's why she'll dig a new one even with one already there.
