Don't waste your time or money with dealer or independent small engine repair shops. The techs have no training and mostly guess and throw new parts at everything.
Don't get me wrong, there are a few 1-man operations that really know what they are doing, but they are getting harder to find.
For parts, I suggest Parts tree or even eBay if you have the correct part number. Jacks small engine is another good source.
Just remember that you have to use the engine product ID label for any engine related parts and most other parts will require using the chassis product label located under the seat or on the seat mount frame
