Dixon 61" start,Solenoid or relay problem?

When I try to start my Dixon with a fully charged battery the solenoid will just go click (once). I turn the key back off and then back to start and it will just go click again. I keep repeating this process until it finely turns over. Any ideas out there?
 
Start at the battery and clean all the terminals and connections and particularly the earth connections.
If no better then try a pair of light jumpers from the battery to the control ( small ) terminals on the solenoid.
Still no joy then replace the solenoild.
Verify the starter motor by running a pair of heavy jumpers directly from the battery to the starter motor.
