Hey, new member here...I have the 2017 72" diesel zero turn mower. I want to start off by saying I really like this mower and when it's cutting I couldn't ask for a better machine to mow with. That being said I have had some issues with it not turning over, on or anything....I have skimmed through the posts and I am fully educated on the issue of bypassing the safety switches...so you don't have to preach that to me...but I couldn't get my mower to power on and with no repair manuals available from the manufacturer I went ahead and bypassed the seat switch the drive arms switches and the emergency brake switch...and tada Iwas back to cutting the 40+ acres that I cut every week on my property...now fast forward 2 days later I finish cutting for the evening and clean off the mower...blow it off with my gas powered blower...and park it in the building. Next morning I go to start it and nothing happens..I have checked all the connections and battery made sure the pto wasn't engaged so on and soforth ad nauseum. I am at my wits end and believe it is something simple that I am over looking..all help and advice is appreciated and wanted..thanks in advance.

It is really a 4 cylinder engine?
 
Do you own a multimeter and know how to do voltage drop testing? That is what is needed at this point.
Yessir I own a multimeter...and I believe I can perform a voltage drop test...Is that where I attach the leads to different parts of the mower and check readings on the multimeter?
 
A voltage drop test is simple, but people get baffled because they are testing the length of a single cable or wire and the connection points of that wire while power is applied with the key on or cranking. How can a single cable/ wire show voltage on a multimeter? Answer: Corrosion or a poor connection.

An example: Set your meter to DCV and test a battery cable at the battery by placing one meter lead on the actual battery post and the other lead on the crimped cable lug. Then turn the key on and try to crank the engine. Watch the meter and see if it shows a voltage reading. .1V is fairly normal, but a higher reading indicates a voltage drop at the connection due to corrosion or loose connection. Test each connection point in the same manner.

Use this same method for each cable end connection and circuit wire when power is applied on them. This will catch a circuit connection problem that simple Ohm testing will not find.
